Privacy Policy

Data & privacy

WhatsApp Order (the App”) is operated by Fastreem Agency (“we”, our”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when merchants install and use the App.

Important: We collect only the minimum data needed to provide the App functionality. We do not store customer personal data.

Information We Collect

1) Store Information

  • Shop domain (example: example.myshopify.com)
  • Shop name (if available from Shopify)

2) App Settings (Merchant-provided)

  • WhatsApp phone number configured by the merchant
  • Message template configured by the merchant

3) Product Data (Read only, not permanently stored)

  • Product title, price, URL
  • Variant title / variant ID (when selected)
  • Quantity selected by the customer

Customer Data

The App does not collect, store, or process customer personal data (such as customer name, email, phone number, or address).

WhatsApp conversations happen directly between the merchant and the customer via WhatsApp.

How We Use the Information

  • Generate WhatsApp order links
  • Insert product placeholders into the message template
  • Display and save merchant settings inside the Shopify admin

Data Storage & Security

  • We store data securely using standard security practices.
  • All communication is protected using HTTPS (TLS).
  • Access is restricted to authorized systems.

Data Retention

App settings are retained only while the App is installed. When the App is uninstalled, we delete all App-related data for that shop.

Third-Party Services

  • Shopify API — used to integrate with the merchant’s Shopify store.
  • WhatsApp used by the merchant to receive customer messages.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be published on this page.

Terms of Service

Usage & limitations

By installing or using WhatsApp Order (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.

Description of the Service

  • Add an “Order on WhatsApp” button on product pages
  • Redirect customers to WhatsApp with a pre-filled message
  • Allow merchants to customize the message template

Subscription & Billing

The App may offer free trials and paid subscription plans. Billing (if applicable) is handled by Shopify according to the billing configuration of the App. We do not store payment information.

Merchant Responsibilities

  • Use the App in compliance with Shopifys policies
  • Use WhatsApp in compliance with WhatsApp’s terms
  • Ensure communications with customers comply with local laws

Prohibited Use

  • No spam, scams, or unsolicited marketing messages
  • No abuse, harassment, or unlawful activities
  • No attempts to access data you are not authorized to access

Availability & Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” and may be updated, changed, or improved over time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or issues caused by third-party services (including Shopify or WhatsApp), service interruptions, or merchant configuration errors.

Termination

You may uninstall the App at any time. We may suspend access if the App is used in violation of these Terms. On uninstall, App-related data is deleted from our servers.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.
